cancel the appointment because we’ve not yet made the transfer

i applied for and was
offered a job while still
early in my twenties.
i accepted the job and have
worked it now for more than
thirty years. i work
selling software that helps
others earn money. i
work selling software that
helps others quantify human
attention. i work selling
software that makes those who own
the company very rich.
i understand the software very
well. when people call
me asking question i have
for them helpful answer. i
am not rich though am also not
at all poor.

if there is reason for
my birth it is in the heads
of my parents. if
there is reason for my
life it is in the driving of
my forebears. great herds
of cloven-hooved animals once
spread widely across this
land. now there are so very
few. before them, there were
others. after this, there will
be still many
more.
